In the last few days, there has been coverage by the UK media regarding shortages in the supply of cardboard packaging.
This statement is to confirm the cartonboard and folding cartons supply chains across Europe remain in good shape, despite the growth in online shopping and increased ‘at home’ food consumption driven by the lockdowns.
The folding carton industry has continued to demonstrate its resilience and ability to react throughout the pandemic and continues to be confident in its ability to keep supply chains running smoothly and without any shortages.
