Schur has sold its production entity in Bremen

For a number of years Schur has had a close co-operation with GPI (Graphic Packaging International) with respect to production of beverage packaging for the Scandinavian and German markets.
The joint venture in Bremen has been successful in the market and has achieved continued growth over the years.
Early 2013 GPI acquired A&R Carton's companies in Bremen and Sneek in Holland and after that GPI desired to merge the two companies in Bremen and they therefore offered to buy Schur’s share of the joint venture company.
As of January 2014 GPI has taken over all activities in Bremen and all employees in the joint venture company have been transferred to the new GPI company.
We appreciate the confidence we have enjoyed during the years where Schur was responsible for the production and was co-owner of the activities in Bremen.
