Glossop cartons expands with lamina

Glossop Cartons has purchased a Lamina FA from Lamina System to further extend its growing suite of machines.
The Lamina FA is a sheet-to-sheet, fully automatic laminating/mounting machine that will allow Glossop Cartons to quickly and easily laminate paper and cardboard-to-cardboard, both solid and corrugated.
Jacky Sidebottom-Every, sales director at Glossop Cartons, said: ‘We are always looking for new technology that fulfills our customers’ needs and requirements. The Lamina FA is a perfect fit for our manufacturing facility, and I’m positive that our customers will reap the benefits of this new and exciting piece of machinery.’
The machine is the latest in a string of high-profile investments for Glossop Cartons, including a Fujifilm Acuity LED 1600 and one of the very first Highcon Euclid digital cutting and creasing systems in the world.
Neil Thayer of Lamina System said: ‘We’re thrilled that Glossop Cartons has chosen to add the Lamina FA to its existing suite of machines. The machine itself was a huge hit at Ipex, and to bring it to one of the UK’s most innovative carton manufacturers is a real coup for us.’
