The tour will bring you to the Äänekoski board mill as well as to world’s first next-generation bio-product mill. Metsä Board’s Äänekoski Board Mill produces fully coated bleached paperboards for high performance packaging and graphical end uses. Metsä Group’s new bio-product mill produces high-quality pulp and a broad range of bio-products. Both mills are located in Äänekoski in Central Finland.
Participants to this study tour will have to arrange their own flights and pay for the hotel costs. The mill visits (lunches, dinners and local transportation) are organised and kindly offered by Metsä Board. (Information about hotel room reservation to be found on the online registration form.)
