Graphic Packaging Holding Company Announces Completion of AR Packaging Acquisition
We are pleased to announce that Graphic Packaging International has finalized its acquisition of AR Packaging, one of Europe’s premier producers of fiber-based consumer packaging solutions. This acquisition is part of Graphic Packaging’s mission to grow with valued customers in selected market segments, and it will enhance the combined group's global scale, innovation capabilities and value proposition for customers worldwide.
This is a transformational opportunity for Graphic Packaging's European business, complementing its existing western European footprint with the well-invested AR Packaging facilities in eastern Europe, central Europe and Scandinavia. The global footprint will also include stronger presence in Asia and Africa.
AR Packaging’s successful development over the years is completed when becoming part of Graphic Packaging, and its skilled employees will get a long-term owner with an ideal strategic fit and aligned overall culture. The values and capabilities of AR Packaging will be further elevated and added to the Graphic Packaging offering.
The expanded geographical coverage and combined innovative expertise in sustainable packaging will enable us to serve both local accounts and multinational companies, fit to more market segments in an even better way.
As a customer, you will get access to a much wider range of packaging solutions from a vertically integrated supplier. From paper board production through carton-based and flexible converting, to packaging machinery development, together we will create a larger whole to provide customized packaging solutions.
The integration of AR Packaging into Graphic Packaging has just started.
