Cartonboard companies are coming together across the Globe to help medical professionals

The face shield designs we are aware of have come from two sources and we have received multiple requests for these designs which are detailed below.

GPI face shield – you can download the details here (ZIP-file). GPI are not seeking to benefit from their design hence there is no need to include any branding. A disclaimer for these face shields is included.

IPG / Fibershield.org – details are in the following website https://fibershield.org/ The patent pending and proprietary paperboard-based face shield designs featured on this site may be used by packaging firms, royalty free through 2020, so long as users commit to donating a minimum of 100,000 face shield to health care providers in 2020.

Please contact ECMA's Managing Director Mike Turner and let him know if your company would like to get involved in making these face shields and/or supplying the raw materials – it would be good to blanket Europe with folding carton face shields to assist medical professionals during the Covid-19 crisis.
