The folding carton industry supply chain members met this year in Bucharest for the 48th edition of the ECMA Congress and to proudly celebrate the 55th anniversary of ECMA.

More than one hundred entries, including many fantastic innovations, delighted the jury of the Pro Carton ECMA Award this year. The focus was on the unique sustainability of cartonboard: numerous innovative concepts were devoted to cartonboard as a replacement for other materials in order to find more sustainable packaging solutions for the future.

A fantastic competition enters its final round: this year, the jury was overwhelmed by the quality of the entries. Special attention had been paid to the role of cartonboard as the most sustainable of packaging materials. Cartons not only excelled through their design, but also through their convenience and die perfect interaction with marketing and the brand message. The 2015 Awards will be presented on 10 September as part of the festive Award Gala at the ECMA Congress in Bucharest.
