21 October 2021		ECMA Food Contact Update 21 October 2021 - In recent months many foodstuffs were taken from the market due to the presence of Ethylene Oxide. This hazardous substance is related to the use of contaminated imported ingredients. The contamination is not originating from food contact materials, nevertheless the substance may be used in very low amounts in the production of materials our sector is buying. - Mineral oils measure in France. Unofficial sources provided a better indication on what may be included.
