ECMA Food Contact Network Update 22 December 2020 - EU Food Contact Materials Legislation. DG SANTE published Roadmap for the revision of EU rules on food contact materials - German Mineral Oil Ordinance. In view of comments, standstill period extended until the 18/02 - FFI/PTS Study on the recyclability of folding cartons and material combinations. Outcome confirms cartons are recyclable as part of the paper stream coming from private households - Food Contact Chemicals Database. The Food Packaging Forum published a database containing 12 285 substances possibly used to make FCMs/FCAs. 608 substances are prioritised for further assessment and substitution in FCMs/FCAs - New developments regarding PFAS and Phthalates. |
